That is totally amazing thing!!

Even 0:01 am, A LOT OF people are here, and they are madness!!

Someone is shouting!! Someone is almost crying!!

You know, the earliest guy had been waitting for 6 hours!!

from 6 pm to 0:01 am..... Crazy!!

I guess over 200 people made a line before opening the window.




This idea is CRAZY!!

Also, LehighValley fans are also Crazy too...
I totally can not believe it.

They love baseball...What I felt that.

Moreover, marketing is very unique.
I have to think, what the best fit in the each specific area is.
Its possible that the Idea should be use in Japan, however nobody knows it.

Fan enjoy baseball.
Also Staff (we say Pigs) also enjoy baseball.

It is sure, now is one of the best time in my file,
and the time has possibility to make my future.

National Anthem

Hi how are you doing.

Today, we have big event for the ball games.

In Japan, we do not do it usual.
In some international game, we probably do it.

It is NATIONAL ANTHEM AUDITION!!!

We took place it on the LehighValley Mall.

There were a lot of people!! like over 300!!
Moreover, the candidates were over 200 people!!

What a big event!!


There were 6 judgements, 3 were from IronPigs,
and other 3 were from our team's sponser.


Amazing thing was candidate were
from 5 year-old kids to over 80 year-old guy.
Everyone tried to be a singer the song!!

Some of them were bringing a musical instrument,
and some were making chorus team.

It is kind of the land of the free!!!!



At that time, I got a chance to judge them!!
It was great experience and also difficult to judge it,
because LehighValley guys' were pretty well to sing a song!!

AND!!!

Again, I got a chance
TO SING THE SONG!!!

It was so exciting,
but a little bit nurvous and ashamed...

Great Experience and Getting courage too.


National Antham Audition.
Japan, we do not sing it all the times.
Just for a International Game.

However, this system is great,

1. Select a singer from local people
2. Everyone has chance to be.
3. Free to be.
4. This event also can get sponsors.

Good.

Hi!! This is Morris. Pigs Marketing Intern!!

Today, I would like to write about 1st experience in the IronPigs.




2nd day of Internship, we took place all staff meeting at Coca-Cola Park Locker Room.
All team staff attended it and reported each section's situation.

I was amazed because all staff did not tie...in Japan, we always do it though.
However, all staff talked and discussed a lot!! sometimes Joke!!

That was cool and great experience for me!!
Also, GM Kurt gave time to exprain by myself!!
I could explain about me and Japanese SAKE!!

It was tough work, however it is very x 100 important task!!
Minor baseball team is growing with local people and us.
Fans are waiting IT!!!

Allentown is pretty chill place.
Someday has snow.

BUT!! IRONPIGS and PIGS FAN are HOT!!!



Today, what I learned is...

Team staffs are so serious for PIGS.
I felt it strongly during the meeting.


They talked and discussed a lot.
Sometimes joke.

Even clothes were rough, brain and heart were so formal.
Japan is like just formal sometimes...

1st Day of the US

Hi!! This is Hiroshi "Morris" Morioka from Japan.

Ist of all, I am going to introduce my thing.


I am from Japan, 24 year-old.
I have been playing BASEKTBALL for 14 years.
I am going to start Marketing and Ticketing intern in your home LehighValley IronPigs.

My future dream is CHANGING JAPANESE BASKETBALL BETTER.

And, you know, the US is the most advanced country about sports industy.
So, I had decided to learn and get experience the US sports system,
because it is surely going to be useful and effective for Japanese Basketball!!!


From Tokyo to Allentown, fright took 14 hours,,,

When I had arrived at Chicago from Tokyo, I was so suspected by Immigration.
and restrained a hour in there.

Pigs broadcaster Mr. Matt Provence who is my tutor helped me, and somehow
i could get permission in there...

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!



Then, we arrived at your ballpark COCA-COLA PARK
a lot of staff were waiting to celebrate me!!!

It made me almost crying!!!
I have to say thank you from bottom of my heart!!


















Today, the 1st experience of Pigs staff and Penn stete, was awesome!!!
Everything is THANK YOU.

Team staff Matt and Jon picked me up.
A lot of team staff made big and surprise celebration to me.
Every Pigstys are friendly and welcome me.
Matt took me ball park tour.
Jon brought me to super market to buy foods.

It is sure that I could not do it by myself ever!!!!

They also enjoy and work hard.
