In several days ago, we hold the stadium tour for one of the Sister city committee members, and exchange students from Osaka Otani University.

They had short exchange program, like 2 weeks,
and got experience in educational studies in elementary or junior high schools.



We planed to meet up on 5pm at the stadium.
They were so excited when watched the inside of the stadium.

They noticed me the first impressive moment.

Recently, I have worked in here for 6 weeks ,and forgetting my first moment.
When I saw their eyes, it was so shining!!

Oh, that is very very important thing.



Fortunateky, after the tour, they purchased some souvenirs!! Thank you (laugh)


I have to find new experience every time,

it makes me my future,

every one second makes future.

What is up??

Today, after working, we were gathered basement...

Batting gage!!

Usually, baseball players use here as practice.

However, fortunately, we can use it in the off season!!

This is like a constructor!! I love it though!!

As you know, I am in a baseball team, so some of them are very good at playing baseball. One of them can throw baseball over 80 miles... too fast for me...


It was so fun and good for dissolving stress!!

It makes us high motivation!!

I do think work hard is very important,
however sometimes we need to play hard!!

Everything is 100%!!
Work 100%, Drink 100%, Sleep 100%!!!

I am always fine!!


Yes, several days ago, I met one of American gentle men how lived in Japan over 16 years.

His name is Bob and was watching stadium like tour (He is a season ticket holder).

At that time, I met him and talked just 10 seconds.

-Morris
"Hi, I am Morris from Japan"

-Bob
"Oh, are you from Japan!! I used to live there 16 years!! My wife is Japanese.Here is my business card, nice to meet you"

-Morris
"Oh, Thank you so much!!"


Then, I sent an e-mail to him. He replied quickly and invited me lunch party at his house!!! I was so excited!!


At that party, there were his wife Kayoko, kids, Rina and Misa, and grand parents.

They were so kind and I could get a great time with them.

Kayoko cooked great foods and everyone love to have them!! Of course me tooooo!!!







That place was mixed US and Japanese culture!!

You know Rina and Misa can speak both language!!

That is really evny you guys...


They know a lot of Japanese people around Lehigh and Philliy, and it is great thing for me!!


I would like to say thank you so much inviting the party.

Japan Night

Today, I would like to talk about Japan Night.

Now, we are planing about it.

As you know, the date is May 4th!!
I can not wait!!!

I can create this event by myself, in other word, it leaves to me!!

It is a kind of difficult, because I do not have a manual.
However, here is pretty big chance to do what I want to do!!
Do it!!

Today, I went to a TV station in Allentown
with my nasty boss Matt Provence a.k.a. MP3.
He is a director of media relations and knows
a lot of things!! Hopefully, you know who he is!!

I have never been TV station even in Japan,
so it made me so excited!!

The TV station is Service Electric Cable TV Inc!!!

Really supriseingly, City of Bethlehem has relationship
between one of Japanese city!!

It is huge and TIGHT!!!






They welcomed us and talked about the Japan night.
Also, have a lot of Japanese stuffs, like KIMONO, traditonal doll and more.

To be honest, I was so excited!! Because some of them can speak Japanese so fluently.
It was over my expectation!!! And, of course, they were pretty nice ladies!!

Hopefully, they were also excietd to talk together.


We are going to host some event during the night.
I am sure this night is going to be great night, I have to do that and want to do that.

High school in US

Hey, y'all!! How is it going??



Today, I had a chance to go to a high school!!
It was the first time to visit the US high school.

Now, we are doing [YOU NEED A SPEAKER??] event.
Our brilliant staffs are ready to go to social place,
like school, city hall etc. and talk about sports business.

I heard that it is very popular
and already and fortunately we can get a lot of requests!!

How nice it is!!



There were a lot of students...over 100!!

Now a days, Japanese universities have college of sports marketing
or something related to it, however!! here is still high school!!
They have sports maketing class...

Amazing!!

Some of the students were really interested in our talk!!

My boss said very important things...

[Make good relationship between team staffs]

Yea, I do think so.
Human relationship, network is so important...

Daily Life

Good morning!!

In here, my daily life is completely different from Japan.
Today, I would like to tell you about my daily life in here,
and what is the biggest difference.

5:30-6:00 am
Get off... making lunch box, rice balls, scheduling of todays
8:00 am
Go to Coca Cola Park... my roommate brings me to there. (Thx a lot)

8:30-12:00
Work... a lot of kinds, for example data typing, meeting, making sales strategy.

1:00-5:00
Work... sales, sales call, etc...

5:00-8:00
once, working time is end...
data typing, strategy, find other jobs, blogging,

8:00-12:00
Go back home, gym, grocery store, study English, revirew today...etc.

Go to bed!!


I think I need more and more x 1,000,000!!!

Yoooo!! This is Morris!!

Today, I would like to write about my main job of this internship.

My posision is a kind of general, however my main is MARKETING INTERN


I used to work as a advertise sales person in Japan, 2 years.
This experience made me confidencial, however I noticed it is
not so easy to do it in here.

One of the problems is ENGLISH.
To be honest, my English skill is not so good, it brings
problems, like phone call, typing e-mail etc.

However, I can not escape from it, and I have to beat it!!
So, I decided to use this weapon for sales.




Bicycle!!!

Actually, we always use it, but here is not.
People use cars...

So, this is the point!!!

Almost nobody does it.
Because of that, I am going to use and do it.

I am going to visit restraunts, companies and more
to deliver our event flyers and sale it.

Someone said, it is a kind of C**zy!!
Yeah, thank you so much!! so that I want to do it.

My favorite book
"Ice to the Eskimos: How to Market a Product Nobody Wants"
says, you have to do a little bit c**zy things.
I need difference!! and I also enjoy difference!!

Populality of Japanese Foods in LHV

Yeah, how are you doing??

Last weekend was warm right?? I do think so!!

Lets warm!! Lets get Hot!!


Today, I would like to write Japanese foods.


To be honest, Lehigh does not have many Japanese food restraunts.
I think it is less than 10.

However, some of Pigs say,

I love japanese foods!! Sushi!!!

So, I made Japanese foods...

SUSHI and RICE BALL aka ONIGIRI!!




In the office, we have a kind of small kitchen,

I put on the foods with a post-it.

"This is Japanese Sushi and Onigiri (Rice ball) , please try it!!"

.....


Amazingly, The foods were like disappeared!!

It was like Maddness?!?!

It made me happy!!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

Fan National Pig Day

Yeah, how is it going!!

Last Saturday, we hosted the Fan National Pig Day at Coca-Cola Park.

It was after the Madness, I stayed in the park and directory joined it.

It was from 8am, a lot of fans were coming and talking each other.


There were HotDog, Soda, Pop-Corn, Hot-Cocoa and Pig Barger booth!!

I took charge of Hot Cocoa, Soda and Pop-corn booth.
Begging of the event, I could not say and talk anything with fans
because of my nervous, however, gradually, I could talk with them!!



It was the First experience to be concession staff in the US, I could enjoy alot!!

I think over 5000 people had come to the event!!
That was amazing!!!

Some fans and Pig's staffs talked about this season.
I know the last season was unexpected result,
fans want Pigs to win the games!!!




Today, I felt that Pigs are loved by Lehigh.
It is sure that Pigs have to win a lot of games,
however, we also have to do great service and action
for fans.

Players, Fans and Staffs, this triangle is very important.
We have to thank for each other.

Snow tubing!!

Yeah, how is it going Hot Pigs??


Last week, we went to HOT PLACE even there was cold!!

The Hot place that is Bear Creek

It was 30 minutes far from the Coca-Cola Park.
Me and other hot interns also, awesome Pigs were going there.



Surprisingly, There were FeFe and FeRROus!!
As you know, they are our best mascot in Lehigh Valley!!
Fortunately, we could do snow tubing together!!

FeRROUS and FeFe were so fanny!!
andmore, they were so active too!!
